Taller de pom poms
Hoy hemos trabajado muuucho! Primero comenzó el grupo de los grandes haciendo las plantillas de nuestros pom poms, así que tuvimos que buscar cartón por todos lados. Menos mal que van a abrir una tienda nueva enfrente y nunca faltan cajas.
Pom pom workshop
Today we worked reaaally hard! First the older ones started off by making the pom pom templates for which we had to look for cardboard everywhere. Thank goodness there is a new shop opening opposite and there is an abundance of boxes.
Después de cortar dos circulos cada uno, comenzamos liando la lana alrededor de un palo de helado. (Venden paquetes de palillos de colores en la tiendas de 100 pts).
After cutting two circle out each, we started wrapping the wool around lolly-pop sticks. (They sell coloured ones in the hundred peseta shop.)
Y ahora lo divertido. “Round and round, round and round” pasandola lana através del agujero hasta cubrir todo el círculo. Después una segunda capa de otro color. Los monitores ayudaron con la siguiente parte más dificil, cortar entre los dos cartulinas y atar una lana bien fuerte. Quitamos las cartulinas y ya está – ¡nuestros pom poms listos!
And now the fun part. “Round and round, round and round” wrapping the wool, through the hole until the circle was completely covered. After a second layer in another colour. The monitors helped with the next, most difficult part, cut between the two cardboard circle and tie an piece of wool strongly. Remove the cardboard and our pom poms were ready!
Los niños grandes ayudaron a los peques con la tarea, terminando los pom poms pegando ojos o convertiendolos en mascotas-monstruos, decoraciones para bolsos y pelo con elasticos ó colgandoles del cuello como collares.
The older children helped the smaller ones to finish by either sticking eyes on their pom poms or converting them in pet monsters or decorations for bags and hair-elastics or even necklaces.
