Mini tabla de skate
Hoy fue brillante, muy novedoso. Hicimos un taller de fingerboard. Para los que no saben qué es un «fingerboard», pues es una mini tabla de skate que se utiliza con los dedos.
Fingerboard workshop
Today was brilliant, really novel. We did a fingerboard workshop. For those of you who don’t know what a «fingerboard» is, it’s a mini skateboard that you use with your fingers.
Alex, uno de los monitores tiene una página web llamada www.Elskate.net así que él fue el sponsor del evento, prestándonos un montón de fingerboards, rampas, escalones, barras de grindar y otros objetos «de calle» para hacer nuestros trucos, montandolo todo en una mesa muy larga.
Nos demostró junto a David, otro «experto» qué hacer y después tomamos turnos en grupos para probar este nuevo deporte. ¡Fue más difícil de lo que parecía!
Alex, one of the monitors has a website called www.ElSkate.net so he sponsored the event, lending us loads of fingerboards, skate ramps, steps, railings and other «street» objects to do our tricks, setting them all up on a really long table.
We were shown what to do together with David, another «expert» and then we were all given turns to try out this new sport in small groups.
It was more difficult than it looks!
