¡Bienvenidos al quinto día del campamento de verano en Campus Inglés!
¡Hoy el tema del día es el agua y hemos tenido un día lleno de diversión acuática! Este año, ¡los mayores tienen un estudio de podcast! Han estado haciendo un podcast de todas las cosas que han estado haciendo esta semana. Tenemos un estudio muy genial, decorado con luces de hadas, una mesa de mezclas, un micrófono profesional y una computadora de juegos con un teclado iluminado. Nos hemos modernizado con los tiempos, ya que esto es mucho más divertido que escribir un diario como solíamos hacer en años anteriores. También es algo especial que solo los mayores tienen la oportunidad de hacer.
Welcome to the fifth day of summer camp at Campus Inglés!
Today’s theme is water, and we’ve had a day filled with aquatic fun! This year, the older campers have their own podcast studio! They have been creating a podcast to document all the activities they have been doing this week. We have a very cool little studio, decorated with fairy lights, a soundboard, a professional microphone, and a gaming computer with a lit-up keyboard. We are keeping up with the times, as this is much more enjoyable than writing a diary as we did in previous years. It’s also something special reserved just for the older campers.
El grupo de 9 años en adelante fue a la piscina grande, donde el señor Cris jugó juegos como «Marco Polo» con ellos. Realmente disfrutaron de la excursión y de pasar un tiempo en el agua.
Una vez de regreso en la academia, hicimos el recuento de puntos y la clase del señor Cris ganó la mayor cantidad de puntos, por lo que todos se llevaron un helado a casa, ¡el premio de esta semana para el equipo ganador!
The group of campers aged 9 and above went to the big pool, where Mr. Cris played games like Marco Polo with them. They thoroughly enjoyed the excursion and had a great time in the water.
Once back at the academy, we tallied up the points, and Mr. Cris’s class had the highest score, so they all received an ice pop to take home as the prize for the winning team this week.
Ha sido una primera semana fantástica llena de diversión en el patio, castillo inflable, deportes, juegos al aire libre, cocina, arte y manualidades, teatro, danza, canciones y experimentos. Nos alegra mucho ver que la nueva área de descanso con estaciones de juegos ha sido un éxito. El swingset de tenis y las mesas de ping pong fueron un gran éxito, al igual que las nuevas mesas de Lego. El podcast también se convertirá en una característica permanente en el campamento de verano y en la academia, ya que fomenta el interés para que los estudiantes quieran hablar en inglés.
¡Hemos tenido una semana maravillosa y emocionante! ¡Estamos ansiosos por lo que nos espera en las próximas semanas!

It has been a fantastic first week filled with patio activities, bouncy castle fun, sports, outdoor games, cooking, arts and crafts, theatre, dance, songs, and experiments. We’re thrilled to see that the new chillout area with game stations has been a success. The swingset and ping pong tables were a huge hit, as were the new Lego tables. The podcast will also become a permanent feature in both summer camp and the academy, as it fosters interest and encourages the students to engage in English conversation.
We have had an incredible and exciting week! We’re looking forward to what the upcoming weeks have in store for us!
