Hoy era el primer día del campamento de verano 2015.
La primera cosa que hicimos era dividir los grupos. Miss Sheila tuvo a los de cuatro años, Miss Jessica de cinco y seis años, Mr Alex de siete y ocho años y Miss Michelle los grandes!
Primero sentamos con nuestros monitores, nos presentamos y aprendimos los instrucciones básicos en Inglés! Puedo coger un vaso de agua por favor? Puedo ir al servicio por favor? Puedo saltar en el castillo? Puedo jugar afuera?
Los monitores explicaron que conseguiremos puntos para hablar en inglés, a ellos y entre nosotros. Cada grupo contaría sus puntos al final de cada día, y ganaría una ventaja, eligiendo su primer actividad el siguiente día.
Durante el tiempo de charla aprendemos los nombres de nuestros compañeros de campamentos y cantamos. También nos dieron la camiseta oficial de Campus Inglés.
Había una rota de actividades así que cada grupo tuvieron un turno para hacer deportes afuera, saltar en el enorme castillo hinchable rosa de elefante y hacer los talleres adentro. Desayunamos a las 11:30 hasta las 12:00 y despues talleres adentro!
Today was the first day of our Summer Camp 2015.
The first thing we did was to get into our groups! Miss Sheila had the little four year olds, Miss Jessica the five and six year old, Mr Alex the seven and eight year olds and Miss Michelle the big ones!
First we all sat with our monitors to introduce ourselves and learn the basic instructions in English! Can I have a glass of water please? Can I go to the toilet please? Can I jump on the castle? Can I play outside?
The monitors explained that we would get points for talking English, to them and to each other. Each group would count their points at the end of each day and win the advantage of choosing their first activity the next day.
During talk time we learnt the names of our camp-mates and sang some songs! We were also given the official Campus Inglés t-shirt.
There was a rota of activities so each group had a turn playing sports outside, jumping on the enormous pink bouncy elephant castle and doing the workshops inside. Breakfast time was from 11.30 until 12:00 and then we did the workshops inside!
Hoy el taller era juego libre así que los pequeñitos exploraron su zona de juego nuevo en la ludoteca. Lego, carreteras, cochecitos, muñecas y los grandes lo pasaron bomba jugando con los magnetix, construyendo todo diferentes formas.
El tiempo voló, y antes que dimos cuenta era hora de irnos a casa. Nos pusimos en nuestros grupos y dejamos paso a los padres para recogernos. Un fabuloso primer día.
Today the workshop was free play so the little ones explored their play area in the “ludoteca”, lego, roads, cars, dolls! and the big ones had a great time playing with the magnetix building all different shapes.
Time flew by and before we knew it was time to go home! We got into our groups and let the parents in to collect us. A fabulous first day.
